The PlasmAcute technology constitutes a significant innovation allowing immunoassay based testing from the earliest days after infection.

PlasmAcute AS developed a new diagnostic sample selection and preparation principle, enabling isolation of specific antibodies using existing immunoassay test products. By isolating B cells from plasma and lysing the cells, specific antibodies are made accessible prematurely allowing for earlier detection by standard ELISA technology in the modified sample.

The technology has been used to obtain data for influenza, HIV and Hepatitis B vaccination. Several studies are currently ongoing in both human and veterinary application areas.
