Early detection of infectious animal diseases

PlasmAcute aims to offer veterinary service providers high performance immunoassay tests enabling early and accurate detection of various contagious animal diseases, and has initiated as development programme towards this end.

Some animal diseases are highly contagious and have a significant economic impact. Early diagnosis can help in disease control and containment, resulting in significant savings for goverments and animal owners, and can cut back the number of animal lives lost when an outbreak occurs.

Swine fever, foot and mouth disease and bird flu are examples of diseases where methods for earlier diagnosis are highly sought after.
